Let's Stay Hydrated!
Summer is almost approaching, and working out outside seems like such a good idea! The sun is out, and the weather is nice. But working out outside in the heat can cause dehydration can creep up faster than you think. So how do you make sure that you stay hydrated while getting in the kick-ass work out?
1. Make sure you drink enough to begin with. Depending on your height and weight they suggest drinking 8 glasses of water, each at 8 ounces a day.
2. Infuse your water. If water is a little to plain for you, but you love strawberries, try and put some strawberries in your water overnight so in the morning your water will taste like strawberries! It will give you a refreshing taste to change up daily water routine!
3. Try coconut water. If you like coconuts, and are getting tired of the plain water, why not try and switch t up and drink coconut water instead. Coconut water is packed with potassium, and magnesium which are good for replenishing fluids.
4. Lastly, check you're urine. When you use the bathroom, your pee should be a light lemonade color, like a light yellow color. This means that you are properly hydrated. If your pee is a dark yellow, brownish, it means that you are dehydrated and need to increase your water intake.
